Annas Ahmad Nasir is a highly accomplished professional with expertise in economics, financial crime, and government advisory. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification and a degree in Business Economics with Computing from the University of Surrey. Nasir’s career began in the UK civil service, where he served as an economist at the Department for Business, Enterprise, and Regulatory Reform and as an energy consultant with Global Insight Ltd. He transitioned to law enforcement in 2015, joining the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) as a Detective, working in the Criminal Investigation Department and Child Abuse Investigation Team. In 2019, he joined Scotland Yard’s Central Specialist Crime Command, specializing in economic and financial crimes, asset recovery, and high-risk investigations. Nasir collaborates with the National Crime Agency on complex financial investigations, leveraging his unique blend of analytical, investigative, and financial expertise.
