CAA - Chenabians Alumni Association
Purpose:
The primary purpose of Divisonal Council is to promote social interaction, fellowship, and networking among alumni through informal gatherings, including but not limited to get-togethers and dinners
Status:
DCs shall be subordinate bodies of the CAA. They shall have no independent legal status, shall not operate as autonomous entities, and shall act strictly within the framework and policies set by the EC
Jurisdiction & Composition:
The DCs shall be established in different cities of Pakistan and in different countries through a notification by the EC
Membership:
All alumni residing or working in the specified geographic region shall be deemed eligible members of the respective DC
Office bearers:
Each DC may, subject to approval by the EC, select or elect the following office bearers:
Convener:
Convener shall coordinate Council activities and serve as the primary liaison with the EC through Alumni Office Chief
Secretary:
Secretary shall be responsible for maintaining records of events and meet. Secretary shall submit a brief annual summary of activities to the AOC
Coordinator:
Coordinator shall assist in the organization of activities and communication with members
Tenure:
Office bearers shall serve a term of two years. They may be reappointed or re-elected for subsequent terms by respective members
Prohibited Activities of DCs:
i. Making or influencing policy decisions of the EC
ii. Engaging in fundraising or collection of any funds under the name or banner of the CAA
iii. Entering into contracts or agreements on behalf of the Association
iv. Issuing public statements or representations in the name of the CAA
